Christmas Ideas: Comics/Graphic Novels for Boys, part 2

Time for more Christmas ideas for the boys in your life who love comics and graphic novels!

Adventures of Tinin, by Hergé (and there's plenty of volumes to choose from!)

You need to check out TOON BOOKs, and inprint of Candlewick Press, that specializes in comics for kids K through 3rd. Otto's Orange Day, by Jay Lynch and Frank Cammuso is just one good one.

Little Vampire by Joann Sfar

The Fog Mound 1: Travels of Thelonious by Susan Schade & Jon Buller (another half comic, half prose, but still fun)

Kaput & Zosky by Lewis Trondheim

American Born Chinese, by Gene Luen Yang

Dungeon series by Joann Sfar & Lewis Trondheim (these can be a little gross with gory stuff, which boys will be okay with, but as a parent you might not, so you might give it a look through)

Sardine series by Emmanuel Guibert & Joann Sfar

Tiny Tryant by Lewis Trondheim & Fabrice Parme

The Unsinkable Walker Bean by Aaron Renier

Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer by Dustin Higgins & Van Jensen (a bit gory, too, but fun)
